People For Bikes

Every year, PeopleForBikes closely monitors hundreds of state legislative and regulatory issues in order to keep track of the national bicycling landscape. Tracking also allows our team to stay nimble and rally support around issues related to import topics, including infrastructure, recreation, and electric bicycles.

Over the last 100 years, our communities and transportation system have been developed and designed primarily for automobiles, which has prioritized vehicle road space and speed over people’s safety and ability to get around without a car.
